IGNITE ALL STARS - GRADES 5 - 12
Audition Based Team
Train Together. Perform Together. Shine Together.
Ignite All Stars brings together dedicated young performers who are ready to
challenge themselves, grow as artists, and experience musical theatre as part of a committed team.
Through advanced training, ensemble work, performance, and the Junior Theater Festival experience,
All Stars strengthen their skills while creating friendships, memories, and a community that extends far
beyond the stage.
WHAT ARE IGNITE ALL STARS?
MORE THAN A TEAM
Where Dedicated Performers Grow Together.
All Stars is Ignite’s audition-based musical theatre program for students in grades 5–12 who are ready for an additional challenge.
Students train as an ensemble, develop material for performance and adjudication, participate in workshops and special opportunities, and represent Ignite at the Junior Theater Festival.
But All Stars isn’t only about what happens onstage.
Students learn what it means to be part of a team—to arrive prepared, support one another, accept feedback, take creative risks, celebrate each other’s successes, and work toward something bigger than themselves.
Work hard. Be brave. Lift each other up.
THE ALL STARS TEAMS.
TWO TEAMS.
ONE IGNITE.
Our All Stars program includes two teams, giving Ignite performers opportunities to experience the Junior Theater Festival on two different stages while representing the same Ignite community.

WHAT IS JTF?
THE JUNIOR THEATER FESTIVAL
A Weekend Built for Young Musical Theatre Artists.
The Junior Theater Festival brings together young performers, educators, teaching artists,
and theatre professionals for an unforgettable celebration of musical theatre.
All Stars prepare a musical theatre selection that they perform for professional adjudicators.
Throughout the festival, students also participate in workshops, watch performances, meet other young artists,
and learn from professionals working throughout the theatre industry.
For our students, JTF is about much more than adjudication.
It’s training. Inspiration. Community. And a chance to discover what’s possible.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR
BECOMING AN ALL STAR
We’re Looking for More Than Talent.
All Stars is audition-based, but we’re not simply looking for the strongest singer, dancer, or actor in the room.
We’re looking for performers who are ready to:
Show up prepared.
Work hard.
Take direction.
Try something that scares them.
Support their teammates.
Respond to feedback.
Bring positive energy into the room.
Keep growing.
Skill matters. Potential matters. Work ethic matters.
And being a good human matters.
That’s what makes an Ignite All Star.
READY FOR THE CHALLENGE?
Ignite All Stars Auditions
Ignite All Stars is open to students in grades 5–12 through an audition process.
Auditions give our team the opportunity to get to know each performer, see where they are in
their training, and determine the team placement that will provide the strongest experience.
We aren’t expecting perfection. We’re looking for performers who are prepared to work, learn,
take risks, and contribute positively to their team.

THE COMMITMENT
WHAT IT MEANS TO JOIN
Great Experiences Require Commitment.
Being an All Star means being part of a team that depends on one another.
Students and families should be prepared for regular rehearsals, additional rehearsals as needed, independent practice, festival travel, and the financial commitment associated with participating in the Junior Theater Festival.
Attendance and preparation matter because every performer plays an important role in the team’s success.
That commitment is also part of what makes the experience so meaningful.
They don’t just attend JTF. They earn the experience together.
THINKING ABOUT AUDITIONING?
You Don’t Have to Be Perfect. You Have to Be Ready to Grow.
Maybe you’ve been performing for years.
Maybe you’ve just discovered how much you love
musical theatre.
Maybe you’re ready to challenge yourself.
Or maybe you’re looking for people who love
this as much as you do.
You don’t need to have everything
figured out before you audition.
Come ready to work. Ready to learn.
Ready to take risks. Ready to support the people around you. And ready to discover what you’re capable of.
You might just find your team.

IGNITE AT JTF
PROUD OF THE WORK.
EVEN PROUDER OF THE HUMANS
Ignite All Stars have been recognized at the Junior Theater Festival for performances and individual achievements, and we’re incredibly proud of what our students accomplish.
But some of our favorite moments don’t come with an award.
They’re the moments when a student takes a risk they didn’t think they could take. When teammates celebrate one another. When a performer applies feedback and discovers something new. And when our students represent Ignite with kindness, professionalism, and joy.
Awards are exciting. Growth is the goal.
