New to Ignite?
Finding the right place to start shouldn’t feel overwhelming.
Whether your child is stepping into their very first class or already loves being onstage, we’ll help you find the program that fits their age, interests, experience, and goals.
At Ignite, students don’t have to arrive with experience. We welcome beginners, growing performers, and students looking for more advanced training.
START WITH THEIR AGE
There’s a Place to Grow at Every Stage.
Every performer is different, but age is usually the easiest place to begin.

They’re Not Sure Yet
That’s one of the best reasons to try a class.
A trial gives your performer a chance to meet the teacher, experience the environment, and see what feels right.
BOOK A TRIAL CLASS
Their First Class Doesn’t Have to Be Their Final Destination.
One of the things that makes Ignite different is that students can grow with us.
A child may begin with music and movement, discover a love of acting, try a production, begin voice lessons, join a musical theatre program, attend JTF, or eventually prepare for college auditions.
There is no single path.
We meet performers where they are and help them discover where they want to go.
Your First Visit to Ignite
Trying something new can feel intimidating, especially when your child has never taken a performing arts class before.
Here’s what you can expect:
You’ll arrive at Ignite and meet our team.
Your performer will join their class and participate at the level that feels comfortable for them.
They do not need to prepare anything unless we specifically tell you otherwise.
They do not need previous experience.
And they do not need to already know anyone.
Our goal is for every new student to leave feeling welcomed, encouraged, and excited to come back.
Ready to Find Their Place?
Their light is already there.
Let’s help them discover what they can do with it.
