At Ignite The Light Performing Arts, we believe every child has a creative fire just waiting to be sparked. Located in the heart of Ashburn, Virginia at Goose Creek Village, we are Loudoun County’s only true all-in-one performing arts destination — offering vocal, dance, and acting training all under one roof. Founded by Director Tina Smothers, a 20+ year performing arts educator, Ignite The Light was built on a simple but powerful mission: to develop great humans who happen to be great performers. Whether your child is stepping on stage for the very first time or dreaming of Broadway, we have a place for them. Our tiered programs are designed to meet every student exactly where they are:

Sparks (K–5th Grade) -A joyful introduction to the performing arts where students explore singing, dancing, and acting while building confidence and creativity.

Flames (6th–10th Grade) -Students strengthen technique, develop performance skills, and grow as confident storytellers on stage.

Blazes (8th–12th Grade) -Advanced training for dedicated performers preparing for high-level productions, competitions, and future opportunities in the arts.

Ignite All Stars -Our elite, audition-based competition troupe for students ready to train and perform at the highest level. With over 10 Junior Theater Festival Awards and a nationally recognized competition troupe, our students don’t just learn — they shine.

Throughout the year, students have multiple opportunities to perform in musical theater productions, vocal concerts, dance showcases, and coffee house performances. We proudly serve students from kindergarten through their first year of college across Loudoun County, including Ashburn, Sterling, Leesburg, and the greater Northern Virginia area.
