At Ignite the Light Performing Arts, our dance program is designed to help every dancer grow in confidence, technique, artistry, and joy. Whether your child is stepping into their very first dance class or training at an advanced level, our classes create a supportive and inspiring environment where students are encouraged to shine unapologetically.
We offer a wide variety of dance styles for all ages and experience levels, including jazz, hip hop, musical theater dance, tap, K-Pop, preschool creative movement, and more. Our classes focus not only on strong technical training, but also on performance quality, storytelling, creativity, and building lifelong friendships.
At Ignite, dancers have exciting opportunities to perform throughout the year in showcases, community events, productions, and special performances. Our faculty is passionate about helping students discover their unique spark while fostering discipline, teamwork, and self-expression in every class.

Ballet
AGES 6 TO 18+ | 3 LEVELS
Build a strong foundation in dance through the art of ballet. This class focuses on proper technique, body alignment, flexibility, strength, coordination, and musicality. Students will learn classical ballet vocabulary while developing grace, discipline, and confidence. Ballet serves as the foundation for many dance styles and helps dancers improve their overall technique and artistry.
Musical Theater Jazz
AGES 6 to 18+ | 3 LEVELS
We provide musical theater jazz classes suitable for both beginners and seasoned performers. Our introductory courses prioritize the basics, engaging combinations, and essential techniques, all while ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience! As students advance, we place greater emphasis on body alignment and technical skills, concentrating on elements such as turns, jumps, and musical expression. Each class also explores various styles found within the musical theater genre.
Jazz
AGES 6 TO 18+ | 3 LEVELS
In our Jazz class, we focus on rhythms, body isolation, coordination, and technical skills, all while emphasizing style. Dancers will explore a wide variety of music, including pop, instrumental, contemporary, and musical theater, as they refine their artistry and movement techniques. Join us to elevate your skills and unleash your creativity in this vibrant dance experience!
Tap
AGES 6 to 18+ | 3 LEVELS
Unleash your rhythm and creativity with tap dance classes at ITLPA! Designed for all skill levels, our classes create an energetic and engaging environment where students can perfect their rhythm, timing, and footwork. In these sessions, students combine tap's rhythm, percussion, musicality, and technique, showcasing how a tap dancer is a true living musical instrument. Through improvisation, call-and-response activities, and a variety of exciting approaches, students will learn, develop, and shine in their tap performances!
Hip Hop
AGES 6 TO 18+ | 3 LEVELS
Come be part of our street-style dance class designed to establish a solid foundation in movement techniques, highlighting grooves, rhythms, and dynamics. Our program focuses on commercial dance techniques and equips you for captivating performances. Dance to the hottest tracks, perfect exciting combinations, and express your unique style in this energetic and motivating dance experience!
K-Pop
AGES 8 TO 18+ | 3 LEVELS
Experience the energy and excitement of K-Pop dance! This high-energy class combines elements of hip hop, jazz, commercial dance, and contemporary styles while teaching the precision, musicality, synchronization, and performance skills that make K-Pop so unique. Students will learn choreography inspired by popular K-Pop artists while building confidence, technique, stage presence, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.
Sparkel and Shine Adventure Club - Preschool Program
Sparkle & Shine Adventure Club is an exciting preschool performing arts program for children ages 2.5 to 6 that combines three unique classes: Music Makers, Dance Factory, and Imagination Factory. Through singing, rhythm activities, movement, dance, storytelling, creative play, and imaginative adventures, young learners build confidence, coordination, social skills, and self-expression in a fun and nurturing environment. Each class is designed to spark creativity, encourage exploration, and help little ones develop a love for the performing arts while making friends and having fun every step of the way.
Sparkle and Shine Adventure Club
Dance Factory, Music Makers, Imagination Factory
Ages 2.5 to 6
Sparkle & Shine Adventure Club is our magical preschool enrichment program featuring three exciting classes in one unforgettable experience! Little ones ages 2.5–6 will sing, dance, create, imagine, and explore through Dance Factory, Music Makers, and Imagination Factory while building confidence, creativity, friendships, and a love for the arts.
