Private Voice Lessons

At Ignite the Light Performing Arts, our voice program is led and overseen by Miss Tina Smothers, founder of Voice by Tina and Artistic Director of Ignite the Light Performing Arts. With years of experience as a vocal coach, director, adjudicator, and performer, Miss Tina has helped hundreds of young artists discover their unique voices, build confidence, and achieve their goals both on and off the stage.

Our students have gone on to perform leading roles in school, community, and professional productions, earn acceptance into prestigious performing arts programs, receive regional and national recognition, and develop the vocal technique and performance skills needed to succeed in musical theater and beyond. Whether a student dreams of performing on Broadway, auditioning for school productions, preparing for college programs, or simply gaining confidence through singing, our voice program is designed to meet them where they are and help them grow.

Voice lessons focus on healthy vocal technique, breath support, vocal range development, performance skills, audition preparation, storytelling through song, musicianship, and confidence-building. We believe every student has a unique voice and a story worth telling. Through individualized instruction and a supportive environment, students learn to trust their voices, embrace their artistry, and develop the skills needed to succeed on stage and in life.
