What happens if classes are canceled due to weather?

If my child misses a class, can they make it up?
Yes! Students enrolled in weekly classes may attend a comparable class as a make-up when available. You are able to schedule a make up class directly on your portal or you can contact our office and we’ll help you find the best option. Private lesson students should notify us as early as possible if they cannot attend. Please refer to your lesson agreement for specific make-up policies.

Can my child try a class before registering?
Absolutely! We understand that trying something new can feel overwhelming. We offer trial classes whenever space is available so students can experience our programs before committing. Contact us to schedule a trial and we’ll help find the perfect class for your child.

How do I know which class is right for my child?
Our staff is happy to help! We take into account your child’s age, experience level, interests, and goals when recommending classes. Whether your performer loves singing, dancing, acting, or wants to explore all three, we’ll help place them in a program where they can grow and thrive.

Will my child have performance opportunities?
Yes! Performance is a huge part of the Ignite experience. Depending on the program, students may participate in recitals, showcases, productions, community performances, competitions, festivals, and special events throughout the year. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to shine on stage

Do you have recitals and showcases?
Yes! Our classes culminate in exciting performance opportunities throughout the year. Dance students perform in our annual showcases, voice students participate in recitals, and theater students have opportunities to perform in productions and special events. We strive to create professional, organized, and memorable experiences for both performers and their families.

What should my child wear to class?
Each program has its own dress code and footwear requirements. Details will be provided upon registration. We recommend comfortable clothing that allows students to move safely and confidently.

Do you offer camps?
Yes! Ignite offers a variety of camps throughout the year, including Summer Camps, Spring Break Camps, Day Camps, and Summer Production Camps. Camps are designed for performers of all experience levels and include singing, dancing, acting, creative activities, and performance opportunities.

Are parents allowed to watch class?
To help students build independence and maintain a focused learning environment, most classes are closed to observation. We provide regular performance opportunities and occasional observation events throughout the year so families can see their child’s progress.
